Eastern Gauteng Aquatics is the official governing body for all aquatic disciplines within the Eastern Gauteng region. Our mission is to develop, promote and support aquatic sport through a culture of participation, fairness and respect.
This platform is your go-to source for all district updates, events and resources. We work closely with Swimming South Africa and our affiliated clubs to ensure that every athlete — from learn-to-swim to elite level — receives the opportunity, guidance and support they deserve.
Swimming for something bigger. Together, we can make a difference.
Cancer has touched the lives of many within our EGA Aquatics family. Through our Champs with a Purpose Pink Drive, we are coming together as a swimming community to show our support and raise much-needed funds for CANSA.
Our journey began at the Winter Championships with Shirley’s Pink Drive, where swimmers proudly purchased and wore pink swimming caps. The incredible support helped us raise R30 000 — showing just what we can achieve when our community comes together.
Now we’re taking the Pink Drive even further at our Summer Championships in December, culminating in a special Pink Day. We want to see swimmers, coaches, officials, parents and supporters fill the venue with pink as we stand united behind this important cause.
R30 000 raised so far of the R100 000 target for CANSA — 30% of the way there.
Through the sale of pink T-shirts, swimming caps and other Pink Drive merchandise, our aim is to raise R100 000, which will be proudly presented to CANSA at the conclusion of the championships.
Every cap. Every shirt. Every contribution. Every champion can make a difference.
